What does being resilient mean to you right now?
As we continue to have waves of instability and change, our ability to have inner stability and resilience will make all the difference in our lives.
How can we make our lives more resilient during these high energy and changing times?
Here are some questions you can ask yourself that will help you to become more and more resilient over time.
Where are you holding limiting beliefs, judgments and fears?
These will keep you locked in a more rigid place, not able to adjust as the times may require.
One way to look at this question might be to ask your Inner Wise Woman – What is a limiting belief I have about myself right now and pay attention to what comes to mind.
All of the questions I pose today would make great journaling prompts for further exploration.
Do you judge yourself about:
· Your body, its shape, its ability to move, its level of health
· Your communications with your family members and others close to you
· Your finances
· Places where you are procrastinating getting “the thing” done
What does it mean to be resilient?
And how could you bring more compassion to yourself around these issues?
Compassion and forgiveness for ourselves and others help us to become more resilient.
Imagine a beloved spiritual teacher or master and how they would counsel you on your judgments or criticisms of the above. Wouldn’t they be loving, forgiving and compassionate?
Part of being resilient is about knowing what we can let go of, what is not serving us any longer so that we can be fully present with the energies of the times, being flexible and in integrity with our deepest self.
What might you be willing to let go of in your life?
Stuff ??
Outdated ideas about what is possible for you ??
Resistance to more self-care ??
Being in community is another way to boost your resilience. Being with like-minded women who can support one another is a wonderful way to increase your resilience.
