What is calling out to you – LET ME GO!!
In the Northern hemisphere the leaves are dropping, the temperatures are lowering, the daylight is lessening. For nature it is the season of letting go of the old.
What feels OLD and OUTDATED in your life?
Is it your sense of unworthiness, your misguided belief that you are not enough?
Could it be the anger or rage from the hard things that have happened to you that colors a lot of how you are in the world?
Or maybe it’s the feeling of lack– of time, of money, of friends, of community?
What comes up for you when you think about letting go of something that has worn out its usefulness but is an old habit? Fear, anxiousness, feeling stuck or frozen, not having a clue how to move towards letting go?
How do I start letting go?
The first thing I would suggest it to get QUIET, go inside and ask the question, what is it that is wanting to let go in my life? Ask your guides for help if need be. Perhaps writing the question in your journal and leaving some space to add to it, as things come to you in the next several days.
In my looking at what wants to be let go of in my life currently, Unworthiness has come up for me YET again. I was sharing with a friend about a place I was feeling stuck and she said to me, “That sounds like you don’t feel worthy of being able to accomplish what you are wanting to accomplish.” Dang!
I have done a lot of work thru the years on clearing the feeling of unworthiness but here it is yet again. If you find yourself in such a place of being faced with something that you have done a lot of emotional work on in the past but it is showing its face again, know this.
Our lives are like a spiral, like a DNA spiral. As our life goes on, we move up the spiral. In the past I had worked on unworthiness at the level of consciousness and life experience I had at that time. Now I have moved up the spiral and have more life experience and hopefully a higher level of consciousness to be able to go deeper with unworthiness than I had in the past. And so, I am able to see this emotional construct at a new and deeper level.
Secondly, use some emotional clearing process that you know and works for you: tapping, polarity processing, squares, triangles, journaling. Whatever you are guided to use.
Thirdly, don’t go into despair about the process of letting go. Take baby steps towards letting go, ask for help from the Intelligence of the Universe and Your Inner Wise Woman. She will guide you along the way. She always DOES!!
And lastly, remember times before when you let go of something that was not working for you and how exhilarating it felt when you had moved into that place of a BIGGER YOU, the joy and fun and hope you felt. REMEMBER that! It is all waiting for you on the other end of letting go.
